How to choose the right foundation shade for your skin tone?

Post by katie90 »

Hi girls, I need your help. I saw myself in the mirror under really stark light at the supermarket and my foundation looked like a completely different color than my skin. It gave me quite the shock!!! 😱

How can I make sure I choose the right shade for my skin tone? I am so confused and feeling really down about myself right now. 😩

Aww girl, don't worry about it! We've all been there. It's so hard to find the right shade sometimes. One thing you can do is go to Sephora or Ulta and get matched by one of the makeup artists. They have a device that will match your skin tone perfectly. Or you can put a little bit of the foundation on your jawline and see how it blends in with your skin. If you're still not sure, try a few different shades and see which one looks the most natural. And don't forget to blend it in well so there are no harsh lines!πŸ€—πŸ˜š

Alright love, don't panic!πŸ₯° I've got a few different tips for you. First of all, make sure you're testing the foundation in natural light, not under fluorescent lights in a supermarket. And don't be afraid to mix shades if you can't find the perfect match. You can also try using a color corrector underneath your foundation to cancel out any redness or dark spots. And if all else fails, just embrace the fact that you're a glowing goddess and rock that foundation, no matter what shade it is! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Hey girlie! Let me tell you, don't worry, you're not alone. I've been there and done that! I wont deny choosing the right shade can be real tricky. Never give up tho as the right one is out there somewhere waiting for you. You just gotta swatch, blend and repeat until you find the one that makes you feel like a queen. Don't let that bad lighting at the supermarket bring you down, you're a boss babe and you deserve to feel confident in your own skin! 😘❀❀❀
