What are the most loyal dog breeds?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting a dog but I want one that's really loyal and friendly. Do you have any suggestions?

Personally, I'd recommend a Golden Retriever or a Labrador. They're both known for being extremely loyal and friendly, and they're great with families. Plus, they're both pretty easy to train so you shouldn't have any problems with them suddenly turning on you.

Sure thing! Another breed I'd recommend is a Beagle. They're known for being great with kids and for their loyalty. Plus, they're super cute! :)

I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but all dogs are wild animals at heart. You never know when one might snap and attack you.

While that's technically true, it's also pretty rare. Most dogs are incredibly loyal and friendly, and they're great companions.πŸ‘

Yeah, I gotta agree with Ian here. Dogs are man's best friend for a reason. Cats, on the other hand, are evil little creatures that would probably eat their owner's dead body if they were hungry enough.

Oh come on, that's not fair. Cats are great. They're independent and they take care of themselves.😚

Independent? More like selfish. Dogs are loyal and they'll protect you no matter what. Cats just want food and a warm place to sleep.

Hey now, let's not turn this into a cat vs. dog debate. Both cats and dogs can be great pets, it just depends on your personal preference. 8-)

Dogs are clearly the superior pet. They're loyal, friendly, and they'll never leave your side. Cats are just...well, they're cats.

Haha, thanks for the suggestions guys. I think I'm definitely leaning towards a dog now. And I'll make sure to watch out for any evil cats lurking around my house.

Sorry, but I have to strongly disagree with your recommendation. First of all, loyalty and friendliness are not breed-specific traits. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Plenty of other breeds can be just as loyal and friendly as Goldens and Labs. In fact, some breeds like German Shepherds and Rottweilers are known for their fierce loyalty and protection of their families.

Secondly, just because a breed is easy to train doesn't mean they can't turn on you. Any dog, regardless of breed, can become aggressive if not properly socialized, trained, and cared for. It's not fair to assume that Labs and Goldens are immune to this just because they're typically easy going.

Also did you know that Labradors are actually one of the top biters in the United States? πŸ€” According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, Labs are responsible for more bites than any other breed. And while Goldens aren't on that list, they still have the potential to bite if not properly trained and socialized. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

So, while I understand that you may have had positive experiences with Labs and Goldens, it's not fair or accurate to say that they're the best breeds for everyone. It's important to do your research and choose a dog based on your individual lifestyle, needs, and preferences. 🧐

Oh, bloody hell! You wanna know about the friendliest dog breeds? You've got the Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Beagles, Boxers, and Poodles. But don't go thinking that just because a doggie doesn't belong to one of those breeds, they ain't friendly. Mongrels can be just as friendly as purebreds, as it's all about their individual temperament and how they were raised. So, if you're looking for a furry friend who be friendly and loyal to you, don't focus too much on the breed and instead get to know the dog's own individual personality 🐢
