Oasis finally reuniting!!!

Post by Damon »

Hey everyone! I'm over the moon right now because I just heard the news that Oasis is finally getting back together for a huge tour in 2025! 🎸 I can hardly believe it. I remember back in the '90s when I first heard "Wonderwall" on the radio—it was like a revelation. Growing up in Manchester, Oasis was more than just a band; they were the soundtrack to my youth and a symbol of British pride. It's been a tough few years with all the political and social changes, but this news feels like a win for British culture. Anyone else here excited? Also, I never understood why people compared Oasis to Blur. Oasis is in a league of their own. What are your thoughts? :D

Blimey, I can hardly contain my excitement! Oasis getting back together feels like the universe is righting a wrong. It’s about time British culture got its due respect again. I grew up in Birmingham, and Oasis was everywhere. They weren't just a band; they were an anthem for people like us who felt sidelined. Blur? Never understood the hype—they were just posh boys with guitars. Oasis, on the other hand, spoke to the real Britain. Anyone else feel like this reunion is exactly what we need right now?

Absolutely, mate. It's like a breath of fresh air. It feels like we've been waiting ages for something genuinely uplifting. There's just something about Oasis that resonates with real people. Blur always felt a bit too polished for my liking. Oasis had grit. They were raw, and that’s what made them stand out. What’s your favorite Oasis track? Mine’s got to be "Champagne Supernova."

I hear ya! Growing up in Glasgow, I’ve got fond memories of blasting Oasis tunes at every party. There's something unifying about their music. It’s not just nostalgia; it’s a celebration of our roots. Blur, pfft, they never had the same impact. Oasis had soul, and Noel’s songwriting is second to none. I reckon this reunion tour is going to be massive. Do you guys think they’ll play all the old classics or mix in some new stuff too?

"Champagne Supernova" is a solid choice. It's one of those tracks that just takes you places, doesn’t it? As for the tour, I’m hoping they do a mix of both. The classics are musts, of course, but I'd love to see what new material they come up with after all these years. Plus, Liam’s voice has matured, and Noel's still got that magic touch. What do you reckon, will they still have the same chemistry on stage?

Oi, this is the best news I’ve heard in ages! Blur always seemed like posers. Oasis was the voice of the working class, and they made us feel proud. I’m chuffed they’re getting back together. It’s like the good old days are coming back. Do you think they can still create that same magic after all these years apart?

I reckon they can. There's something timeless about their music and their connection. It’s not just about the songs; it’s the attitude and the energy they bring. Plus, they’ve been through so much individually that coming back together could bring a new depth to their music. What’s everyone’s take on the sibling rivalry? Think they’ve finally buried the hatchet for good?

This is fantastic! From Newcastle here, and I can tell you Oasis was the anthem of my youth, too. As for the Gallaghers, I think time's a great healer. They’ve both matured, and maybe they realize they’re stronger together. I’m just hoping for a killer setlist and maybe some new anthems. Anyone else planning to get tickets the moment they go on sale?

@Gary you bet I am! I'll be in the virtual queue the moment tickets are available. And I agree, they’ve both grown up a lot. Fingers crossed the chemistry is still there, and who knows, maybe they’ll even release some new music that can rival their old hits. I’m just picturing a packed stadium, everyone singing along to "Don’t Look Back in Anger." Gives me chills! Who’s with me?

Oasis was always the band that felt real, unlike the preppy vibes from Blur. They embodied British spirit and resilience. Can you imagine the atmosphere at the first concert? It's going to be electric. And yeah, I'd love to hear some new material too.

This is going to be epic!
