Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share my recent experience with the new Google Pixel Pro phone. Honestly, it's been a complete nightmare and I’d urge anyone thinking of buying one to reconsider. I feel like I've been duped by the marketing. The phone is overpriced junk, riddled with Google spyware. You don't really own or control the phone; it feels like it’s constantly reporting back to Google, making it have a life of its own. The AI features they boast about are total rubbish and nothing like the adverts—massive false advertising if you ask me.
And don’t get me started on the camera! It's shockingly bad. I had a phone 10 years ago with better quality. If you're thinking of getting one of these, just don't. Save your money and sanity.
Would love to hear if anyone else had similar experiences or if someone actually likes this phone and why.

Oh man, I totally get where you're coming from! I bought the Pixel a couple of months ago, and it’s been so disappointing. The camera is honestly a joke. I tried taking pictures at a concert last month, and they came out so grainy and washed out.

Right?! It’s like they spent all their budget on marketing instead of actually making a functional phone. I went for it because I thought the AI features would help me organize my life better, but it’s just clunky and unresponsive. Makes me miss my old phone, which I never thought I'd say.

I’ve had my google pixel (not the pro version) for a year now, and I feel the same. It constantly updates and restarts at the most inconvenient times. And the battery life is horrendous! I can barely get through a day without needing to charge it twice. Anyone else having this issue?

I switched to iPhone a few months ago and haven't looked back. My new phone doesn’t try to be overly smart—it just works. Plus, the camera is way better, and I don’t feel like I’m being monitored 24/7.

Re: New Google pixel Pro is a hunk of JUNK!
I've been using an iPhone for the past three years, and even though it's not the latest model, it absolutely blows my friend's newer Pixel Pro out of the water in so many ways.
For starters, the camera on my iPhone is soooo much better. The pictures are crisp, clear, and vibrant, unlike the grainy mess my friend's Pixel churns out. The interface is smooth, intuitive, and doesn't lag, and the build quality feels solid and premium – none of that cheap plasticky feel you get with the Pixel Pro.
And don't even get me started on the privacy issues. Google is notorious for digging into our personal data. It feels like they're just lurking over your shoulder, watching everything you do. Apple, on the other hand, has always put a strong emphasis on user privacy. You actually feel like you own and control your device.
But it's not just about the phone. Google as a company is a nightmare. They're like the bullies of the internet, strong-arming small businesses into paying ridiculous amounts just to get noticed online. It's like an extortion racket. If you don’t play by their rules, good luck ever being found in a search. They have no respect for our privacy, democracy, or even free thought if you look at their actions over the years. They're all about control and squeezing every penny out of users and businesses alike.
I urge everyone to steer clear of Google's products. They don't deserve our business or our trust. Stick with a company that respects you and offers quality products instead of overpriced junk.
Just my two cents. Stay smart and protect your privacy!

Hey Damon, thanks for your reply. Your post really hit home. For me the camera (the main reaosn why I even bought this phone) is such a letdown – every photo I take looks like I shot it through a foggy window. Plus the lag and the clunky interface just is so infuriating like something you would get in the 00's. It feels like I'm fighting my phone just to get it to do basic tasks.
What you said about privacy issues is spot on. It's creepy how much Google seems to know about us. I swear, sometimes it feels like they're taking notes on my every move. The constant ads and personalized recommendations are just plain invasive. I miss the days when my tech felt like it was working for me, not the other way around.
Reading your post has got me seriously thinking about making the switch to an iPhone. Honestly, it sounds like a dream compared to this Pixel nightmare. But now I'm wondering if I should hold out just a bit longer for the next iPhone release. From what I've been hearing, it's supposed to come with some killer AI features that will probably leave Google's attempts in the dust. I mean, if Apple's track record is anything to go by, the new iPhone will be worth the wait and then some.
I'm just tired of feeling like I'm stuck with a subpar device from a company that doesn't respect its users. Thanks for sharing your experience – it's definitely given me a lot to think about. Time to start saving up for that iPhone, I guess!

Google is the absolute worst. The way they operate, it's like they're trying to be the overlords of the digital world. They're utter pigs. I wouldn't give Google a single penny of my money.
I can’t stand how they’ve infiltrated every aspect of our lives with their so-called 'services'. It's terrifying how much control they have, and it's not even subtle. They’re like a shadow government, manipulating what we see, how we think, and who gets to have a voice. It feels like we’re living in some dystopian nightmare where they get to decide what’s right for us.
I'm currently dipping my toe into investing, but I wouldn't touch the Nasdaq with a ten-foot pole if it means supporting a company like Google. They are the cancer of our modern society, playing an enormous role in destroying democracy, free speech, and even free thought. They’re hammering down the small guy while pretending to be the good guys with their ‘Don’t be evil’ motto. Yeah, right!
Google’s like the digital version of the Chinese government, controlling and censoring everything under the guise of 'improving user experience'. It’s gruesome and awful, and it makes my blood boil just thinking about it.
Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience. .. sorry for the rant.
