Got bad stomach ache... could it be because of bad posture?
Hey everyone! I've been experiencing a terrible stomach ache for a while now and I'm wondering if it could be related to my bad posture. I work from home and spend most of my day hunched over my computer, which I'm guessing isn't doing my back any good. Plus, my neck sticks out like a chicken and I'm sure that's not helping matters. Do any of you have any tips to help improve my posture and get rid of this pain? I'd be really grateful for any advice. Thanks in advance!

Hey there! Sorry to hear about your stomach troubles It's definitely possible that your bad posture is contributing to the pain. Sitting in front of a computer all day can be tough on your back and neck. Have you tried adjusting your workspace to make it more ergonomic? Maybe getting a standing desk or a better chair could help! Also, don't forget to take breaks and stretch throughout the day. You can even set reminders on your phone to get up and move around every hour or so. Good luck and feel better soon!

Oh no, sorry to hear you're dealing with a stomach ache. Honestly though, I don't think it's all about your posture. But hey, being hunched over all day can definitely mess with your back and neck, which can make everything feel worse. So, it might be worth trying to improve your posture a bit. You could adjust the height of your chair and computer screen to sit up straight and look ahead when working... this really helped me when I was working at home during the pandemic. If you're really struggling, it might be worth seeing a physical therapist or chiropractor for some extra help. And if your stomach ache doesn't go away, definitely talk to a doc to figure out what's going on.
