I’ve gotta rant about something that really gets under my skin. As a small business owner running an online shop, I can't wrap my head around the backlash against businesses charging customers for returns. Like, what's the big deal? Companies like PrettyLittleThing and other clothing brands have started doing it, and I think it's about fucking time!
Let’s talk about these so-called "customers" who buy stuff, use it, and then return it. Do they think we small businesses are made of money? Every return hits us hard. Costs add up: product prices, taxes, postage, packaging, and paying workers. It's a real gut punch when loads of people pull this shit.
Think about it – if everyone buys stuff just to return it, how the hell would the economy survive? These twats either take advantage of the return policy or can't be arsed to read the product description and sizing guides. Too many laws protect these entitled nit wits when we should be supporting businesses that are being abused by these ridiculous consumer laws.
My business doesn't charge for returns – yet. But I reckon we should. Even when we don’t, we still get some entitled prats who think we should pay them for sending stuff back. Can you believe that? They act like they deserve compensation just for returning something. This culture of returning shit needs to stop.
So yeah, I'm all for businesses charging for returns. It's about time we put an end to this culture of consumers taking advantage of us hard-working business owners. What do you all think? Let's hear your thoughts!
Cheers
